Hi Julie, very thorough review. I visited a similar frozen yogurt shop and I enjoyed the self serve aspect. You choose what you want, and how much you want – no sales staff being skimpy on the toppings. I see the advantages of buying into a franchise, especially one with such great reviews – lots of help and support, something you don’t get when starting from scratch. Doesn’t seem like something that would work in places with long winters though!

    • A yogurt shop in a place with long winters may be a problem for some, but nothing stops me from frozen yogurt!!….it warms you up once its down in your belly 🙂

    • Hi Colleen,
For a franchise like Menchies, it can take several months, up to a year depending on location. Since real estate is required, a site needs to be chosen and build-out from scratch or rebuilt from an existing space and that’s what takes most of the time.
      Thanks for asking.
